This stop-motion movie became a hit when it came into the theaters. So, this should also be a hit as a face paint design for Halloween!
Supplies: We recommend Graftobian ProPaint for this design.
Tips: Always start with a clean face. Make sure that all paints, tools and the work area are all clean. Prepare everything you need before you start.
Step 1. Create a base. Blend Pearl Frost and Aztec Turquoise in a blender sponge and cover the whole face to create a base.
Step 2. Shadow the cheekbones. Create blue shadowing on both cheekbones and sides of the nose using a sponge loaded with Catalina Blue.
Step 3. Create some highlights. Highlight the face with Pearl Frost loaded on a sponge.
Step 4. Outline the eyelids. Using a #6 round brush, paint Wild Violet on the eyelids and eye creases.
Step 5. Blend the outline. Using a wide chisel brush, blend the purple paints on the pearl base.
Step 6. Darken the outline. Paint on the eyelids and around the eyes with a #6 round brush loaded with Eggplant.
Step 7. Outline the eyes. Outline the eyes with Raven Black loaded on a #2 round brush.
Step 8. Paint the scars. Mix Wild Violet, Catalina Blue and Raven Black and paint scars on the face using a #2 round brush.
Step 9. Add shadows on the scars. Using a #2 round brush and black,add shadowing on the scar.
Step 10. Highlight the scar. With White Swan and a #1 round brush, highlight the scar.
Step 11. Fill the scar. Using the same brush, fill the scar with some Catalina Blue.
Step 12. Highlight the eyelids. Using a sponge loaded with White Swan, highlight the eyelids.
Step 13. Paint the eyelashes. Paint eyelashes using a #1 round brush loaded with Raven Black.
Step 14. Paint the eyebrows. Using the same paint and #2 round brush, draw the eyebrows.
Step 15. Paint white eyeliners. Paint white eyeliner on the lower eyelids using a #1 round brush and White Swan.
Step 16. Paint the lips. Mix MegaGenta, Wild Violet and Eggplant and paint the lips using a #2 round brush.
Step 17. Highlight the lips. Highlight the lips using White Swan loaded on a #6 round brush.
Step 18. Finish with glitter. Put some glitter on the design.
