Creepy Zombie by Caroline Healy
Posted by Caroline Healy on

Create a creepy zombie make-up this Halloween and stand out from the crowd, by following these step by steps.
Supplies:
Diamond FX Monster Palette (red, yellow)
Kryolan Zombie Cream Color Circle
Elisa Griffiths Color Me Pro Palette (Red and Black)
Begin by applying a pale skin color base to the face and down to the chest. I used the Kryolan cream color circle for this, as it has my favourite colours in one place.
Next I used the dark brown, also from the color circle to accentuate the lines on my forehead, around eyes and mouth.

I then used the red powder from the color me pro palette under the eyes and the black powder to shade under the cheekbones, in the temple area and on the forehead and chest.
I used the blood red paint from the Diamond FX palette to paint the cuts and sores.
For the teeth I used Diamond FX white and then I painted around the gums using Cameleon red berry. After that I outlined with Diamond FX black.

I also used the black to paint my eyebrows and added more lines around the eyes and mouth. I then painted the stitches and added depth to the cuts.
Using the green paint from the color ring on a Stipple sponge, I painted the forehead and chest to create a more rotten appearance.
I added yellow from the Diamond FX palette to the teeth and cuts and then white paint to highlight the wrinkles and around the cuts.

Then to complete the look, I used VERMILLION blood spatter spray and put a small amount in each cut.

I hope you have found this tutorial helpful.
