Halloween will be here before you know it. You can start sharpening your Halloween design skills with this Devil Face Paint tutorial. Let’s get started.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Paradise Red
- Paradise Black
- Paradise Yellow
- Wolfe White
- Always Wicked Sponge
- Filbert Brush
- #4 Round Brush
Load your always wicked sponge with Paradise Red and apply it to the face in a heart type shape.
Lightly load your Filbert brush with Paradise Black and begin shading your Devil. You will be shading the forehead, eyes, nose, cheeks, chin and edge of the design.
Lightly load your filbert brush with Paradise Yellow and blend in some highlights above the eyes, on the top of the cheeks and nose and finally, the chin.
Load your #4 Round Brush with Wolfe White and paint in horns at the top of the design.
Finally, load your #4 Round Brush with Paradise Black and outline the entire design. You will want an outline on each area that has a shadow. Don’t forget to outline the horns. Continuing with your Paradise Black, paint the lips. You will want to exaggerate the lips to make them appear bigger. Lastly, you can add some spots to the forehead and sides to give the design some texture.
Enjoy practicing those skills of yours for Halloween and be sure to share your designs with us on our Facebook page.
Until then… live, love, paint!
