Open Wide and say, Ahhh to this week’s Special FX tutorial. I chose this Gore Glam Beauty to feature this week, however, this look can be created for guys or gals.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Graftobian Molding Wax
- Mehron Spirit Gum
- Kryolan Burn and Injury Wheel
- Mehron Liquid Latex
- Graftobian Blood Paste
- Menhron Squirt Blood
- Fake Teeth (you can use fake fingernails)
Apply Spirit Gum around the mouth and nose area.
Apply Vaseline to your fingers and grab your Graftobian Molding Wax. Press the wax onto the Spirit Gum around the mouth and nose and blend the outside edges. You will want the edges to appear to be pealing up from the skin.
Attach pieces of stretched cotton onto the chin, above and below the lips using Liquid Latex and a q-tip.
Apply more Spirit Gum to the cotton pieces, then attach your fake teeth. I was lucky enough to get some fake teeth from an orthodontist, but fake fingernails will work well too.
Next, using a q-tip loaded with black from your Burn and Injury Wheel, apply it into all of the cracks and crevices and any area that shows the lips.
The last steps will be adding blood. Using a q-tip, load it with the graftobian Blood Paste and apply it to the entire area. For the very last step you will be using Squirt Blood. I put the squirt blood into a little spray bottle to give it a nice splatter effect.
I hope you enjoyed this Gore Glam tutorial. Share your version with us on Facebook. Let us know if there’s anything special you would like to see from us in future tutorials and demos.
Until then… live, love, paint!
