Robogirl

The fascination of humanoid creations has been around for centuries. In 1927 we had the classic German silent film Metropolis and the strangely erotic female robot creation. In 1983 the band Styx released their album “Kilroy was Here” featuring the song Mr. Roboto once again entertaining the man /machine character. Our culture has embraced the many films and novels that deliver us into a world of mechanical beings that live among the humans. Most recently the Steampunk genre has produced a musical pantomime troupe Steam Powered Giraffe not only giving a fanciful take on humanoid creations but has inspired people to recreate the clever makeup designs by this group. That is what leads us to this tutorial on the Robogirl.

Step 8. With large flat brush fill the lips chin and neck segments with the Kryolan silver.
Step 9. Fill in the black neck segments with Kryvaline black and the contour brush.
Step 10. Use the medium round brush to color the lips black with Kryvaline.
Step 11. To the eyes we add a line of black connecting the bridge of the nose continuing across the eyelid. Use your contour brush and Kryvaline black.
Step 12. Diamond purple will be added as eye shadow with the contour brush.
Step 13. We added blue mascara to accent the eyes.
Step 14. Finish off the design by coloring the ears and side of neck with copper using the halved hydra sponge.
