Global Body Art Face Paints are made of high quality pigments that are hypoallergenic and free of fragrance. Global Body Art Standard, Metallic & Pearl Colors contain US FDA approved ingredients for cosmetic use and are safe to use on skin. Neon Colors, like neons from other brands, have not been tested by FDA for cosmetic use and has been labeled as safe to use as special FX only. However based on independent lab testings, they have been declared safe to use as a cosmetic.
Note: FDA guidelines do not recommend the use of reds, blues, greens and purples & neon colors near eyes or lips. These colors should not be left on skin for too long.

Recommended Applicators for Face Paint
Apply with a brush or sponge.
Recommended Applicators for Split Cake
Apply with a brush or sponge. A 3/4" flat brush is recommended for 30 gm cakes and a 1" brush for 50 gm cakes.
Application of Face Paint
Dampen the applicator with a little water.
Rub the water in until desired creamy consistency is reached. Global face paints tend to require more water than other brands.
Apply makeup in even strokes.
Allow the base to dry completely before starting line work.
Application of Split Cake
Dampen a brush or sponge by dipping in water. Pick up various colors and apply in one direction.
Removal
Wash off with mild soap and water. Baby wipes can also be used.
Recommended Applicators for liquid face paint
Apply with a brush or sponge. Also works in airbrush machines once diluted.
Application of liquid face paint
Apply directly out of the jar for painting lines, design accents etc.
Apply using a sponge for base work over large areas.
Use a sponge to apply over stencils.
Apply using a sponge tip applicator for small design accents like dots, teardrops etc.
Dilute properly for use with airbrush machines.
Removal of liquid face paint
Wash off with mild soap and water.
Application of FX Glitter Gel
Apply using the built in, fine tip applicator in the bottle. Adjust the squeeze pressure to control the thickness of design elements.
Removal of Fx Glitter Gel
Wash off with mild soap and water.
Caring for face painting brushes
After each use, remove all traces of face paint by rinsing in warm or hot water. Dry well from brush handle to the top head using a paper towel. Shape the brush head with fingers. Let the brush dry completely. Store with bristles up.
Tip: When using soap for cleaning, use a baby shampoo or gentle soap, to reduce any chance of irritation.
